The Korean baseball cheering culture travel package launched by the Korea Tourism Organization for Taiwanese consumers has taken a successful first step, achieving more than three times the target for visitors.

A total of 104 people, including students from Taiwan's prestigious Wesley Girls' High School and Taichung Culture High School, visited the stadium to experience the culture of cheering for Korean baseball at the Kiwoom Heroes and LG Twins held at Gocheok Dome in Seoul on the 10th.

Even Taiwanese students seem to know the saying, "Eating comes first." Students who came to the stadium with excitement visited the snack bar before cheering for them in earnest. They enjoyed a variety of foods ranging from chicken to hot dogs and beverages, which are indispensable when visiting a baseball stadium.

When the game began, they waved cheering sticks to the cheerleaders' chants, and participated in the joint cheering. They took videos and photos with their smartphones and captured various parts of the stadium. Cheers for a single hit and sighs of regret in "Out Count" were common words in the world.
Recently, Korean professional baseball has also received hot attention from Taiwan across the sea. In addition to the performance of Korean cheerleaders in the Taiwanese baseball league, the "Pippi Longstocking" challenge has become a cheering culture, not just a sport, and has expanded to tourism demand.

Jin Yu-woo (17) and Ja Jun-hong (16), both students at Taichung Culture High School, looked deeply into the joy of intuition. The two students said in unison, "I like the passion and cheering atmosphere of Korean professional baseball."

Jin Yu-woo said, "The audience's concentration and the cheerleader's passionate performance were exciting and fun." Ja Jun-hong promised to revisit the tour, saying, "I didn't experience Korean culture deeply. I'm sorry for the short trip."
The Korea Tourism Organization's tour package to Korea will run eight more times. It plans to promote Korea's charm not only by visiting the baseball stadium, but also by experiencing hanbok, visiting Namsan Tower and Gyeongbokgung Palace, and watching performances.

Ban Ho-cheol, head of the theme tourism team at the Korea Tourism Organization, said, "This product will promote the charm of the K-cheering culture to baseball fans around the world and contribute to expanding the base of the Korean market through sports tourism."
